Matthew Stafford and the Los Angeles Rams could be in a familiar annoying situation come Sunday when they play the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC title game.

To recall, back in Week 18, the Rams also hosted the 49ers at SoFi Stadium. Unfortunately for the home team, it turned out to be like a road game because of the number of San Francisco fans who traveled to watch and cheer for their Niners.

For insight on the Rams' NFC Championship matchup against the 49ers, listen below:

Stafford himself admitted that the environment was tough, especially in the second half of the contest when the 49ers supporters jeered and made it hard for them to communicate. LA blew a 17-0 lead and allowed Jimmy Garoppolo and co. to win 27-24 in OT.

Now, according to a Los Angeles Times report, the Rams can expect the same thing to happen in the Conference Championship—or even worse. Ticket reseller Vivid Seats predicts that 65 percent of the audience at SoFi Stadium on Sunday will be 49ers fans. Those numbers are up five percent from the Week 18 game.

That is certainly something Matthew Stafford and the Rams wouldn't want to hear. The team has actually done a lot of desperate moves to limit the number of 49ers fans who will attend the game, but by the looks of it, all efforts went for naught.

Even the wife of Rams tackle Andrew Whitworth asked fans to sell their tickets to her if they cannot watch, but that seems ineffective as well.

With the way things are going, it seems Sean McVay needs to better prepare his guys on handling the pressure against a hostile crowd.
