Back In Stock: BinaxNOW At-Home COVID-19 Rapid Tests Just $20/Each at Walmart Today

Remember the days when getting a COVID-19 test required waiting in a long line and then having a nurse insert a foot-long nasal swab so far up your nasal passages that it felt like it was tickling your brain? Fortunately, COVID-19 testing technology has improved drastically over the past two years, and most popular rapid test kits require nothing more than a quick non-invasive nasal swab and a 10-15 minute wait. Of course, you’ll have to find these at-home rapid test kits in stock first.

This week, the popular BinaxNOW COVID‐19 Antigen Self Test Kits are back in stock at Walmart, which is offering fast delivery on these popular rapid tests. Like Amazon, Walmart allows third-party sellers to list products for sale on its online marketplace, but these tests are sold and shipped directly by Walmart itself. Depending on your delivery location, these tests can be delivered in as little as two or three days.

This is the brand of rapid tests that you’ll often find at pharmacies like CVS and Walgreens, and by now, millions of people are familiar with these blue BinaxNOW test kits. If you’ve heard the meme of the COVID lollipop, that’s a reference to these tests, which resemble a lollipop — the worst lollipop ever invented — while the test is in progress.

These tests are priced at $19.88, and we fully expect them to sell out again in the near future. Please note that you can order free COVID-19 tests from the government, and you can also check out our guide to all of the COVID-19 rapid tests in stock online.

However, many members of the SPY.com team reside in New York City, which has been hit repeatedly by some of the worst surges of COVID-19. Plus, we’ve seen incredible interest from our readers on topics like how to spot counterfeit face masks or where to buy COVID-19 test kits.

The highly contagious Omicron variant of COVID-19 has been spreading around the world in the past 30 days, and the author of this piece recently recovered from a bout with Omicron. So long as you’re fully vaccinated, boosted, and don’t have an underlying risk factor, your symptoms will probably be mild. Still, if you’re suffering from Omicron symptoms such as a runny nose, sore throat, fatigue or headaches, then it’s better to be 100% sure that you have the virus and not the common cold.
