Tyrone Spong and Rashad Evans Ready To Put On Show At Khabib's Eagle FC in Miami

Miami has been a hotbed for fighting for a long time and Friday night another promotion will start calling South Florida home. Eagle FC, run by former UFC Champion Khabib Nurmagomedov will start holding cards in it's USA headquarters here in Miami at FLX Arena. It's an intimate setting made for broadcast that will be on the FLX Cast app. Tyrone Spong and Rashad Evans headline the card in the main event and co-main event respectively. Spong is taking on Sergei Kharitonov and Evans faces Gabriel Checco. The two friends have trained in South Florida for years. Spong was chasing a boxing world title, getting to a record of 14-0 (13KO) but is returning to MMA, where he hasn't fought in 2013. Asked if he has any nerves in his return to the cage, Spong quickly shot that down "The fighting part is the easy part. It’s the training and getting up when you don’t feel like it and pushing when you don’t feel like it. Fighting is the fun part," said The King of The Ring.
