Buffalo Bills general manager Brandon Beane met in-person with the media on Wednesday and spoke for more than an hour.
Beane discussed a wide range of topics, from the playoff loss to the Kansas City Chiefs this past Sunday, to various players and positions heading into the offseason, possibly staff changes, and even the possibility of playing a game overseas in 2022.
Beane said he hasn't slept much since the team's 42-36 overtime loss to the Chiefs in the AFC Divisional Round of the playoffs. He added he has yet to watch the game back, or even the ending, but he has had plenty of discussions with head coach Sean McDermott and owners Terry and Kim Pegula about how the final 13 seconds played out.
Despite the loss at the hands of the Chiefs for a second-straight year, and a round earlier than the 2020 season, Beane said he does not believe the Bills took a step back this season.
