UPDATE: Missing Knoxville toddler found in Indiana

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — A missing 18-month-old girl from Knoxville has been found. The Knoxville Police Department said Royalty Daniel was found in Bloomington, Indiana, and “returned to (Department of Children’s Services) custody in good health.”

According to the Knoxville Police Department, Royalty’s mother, Cheyenne Daniel, met with law enforcement in Bloomington to resolve the situation. The department said Cheyenne was “helpful and cooperative in resolving the matter” in a social media post.

Royalty was last seen on Jan. 22 at 402 Bear Creek Lane.

The toddler was previously removed from Cheyenne Daniel’s custody by the Department of Children’s Services. Police also said Royalty has a medical condition that requires regular treatments that might not be available to her.

Daniel had reportedly refused attempts to answer calls or orders to appear in court.
