Dunkin’ brought its doughnuts and coffee to Upper Allen Township.
The restaurant opened Jan. 26 at 1423 S. Market St. near the Cumberland Parkway and is operated by B.J. Patel, owner of about 10 Dunkin’ franchises in central Pennsylvania.
Patel converted a former Fulton Bank in a location where he said the population is growing. The new Dunkin’ sports the chain’s bells and whistles including a two-lane drive-thru and “next generation” digital format.
In 2018, Dunkin’ rolled out an updated look that includes tap systems and digital kiosks. In addition, the chain reformatted its brand packaging to match its new identity.
“Our new look represents both our heritage and our evolution as the brand that fuels optimism and keeps America running with great coffee, donuts and more,” Tony Weisman, chief marketing officer of Dunkin’ U.S.A. told QSR Magazine in 2019.
Patel said a grand opening celebration will be held in April. The restaurant is open 5 a.m.-9 p.m., daily.
