The Miz & Mrs. Tapping Out of $12.5 Million Suburban Manor House
Professional wrestling and reality TV power couple Mike “The Miz” Mizanin and Maryse Mizanin are tapping out of their glamorously appointed suburban mansion in Westlake Village, about 45 miles west of downtown L.A. and an hour’s drive east of Santa Barbara. First spotted by the property gossips at the L.A. Times , the manicured 1.27-acre estate is listed with Jordan Cohen of Re/Max One at $12.5 million, nearly twice the $6.4 million tax records show the superstar grapplers paid about two and a half years ago.
Now 41, The Miz got his start in reality TV more than 20 years ago, when he appeared on “The Real World: Back to New York” (2001) and its spin-off, “Real World/ Road Rules Challenge,” on which he appeared from 2002 to 2005. He signed with World Wrestling Entertainment in 2004, became the WWE’s 25th Triple Crown Champion in 2010 and married glamour model turned professional wrestler Maryse Ouellet in 2014. They’ve since had a couple of kids, Maryse appeared on a couple seasons of “Total Divas” and, last year, The Miz, who reportedly rakes in more than $1.2 million a year in WWE salary and endorsements, cha-cha-ed and samba-ed his way to the seventh elimination on last year’s 30th season of “Dancing With the Stars.”
Besides pummeling and pinning their opponents in the ring, the action-packed pair also co-star in the USA Network reality series “ Miz & Mrs. ,” which was picked up last fall for third season that’s expected to air later this year. Their move from Austin, Texas, where they owned a 7,770-square-foot home in the Seven Oaks area, to California’s Westlake Village, where they set up camp in the stately suburban stone manor house they now want to sell, was featured in season two of the show.
Current promo materials describe the house as a “completely re-imagined contemporary English Manor” with mountain views over the verdant fairways of the North Ranch Country Club. There are six bedrooms and eight full and two half bathrooms between the 10,400-square-foot main house, two-story guesthouse and poolside pavilion.More from DIRT
