Lio Rush may be the “Man of the Hour,” but he’s been the hot topic across wrestling news for the last few days. News broke on Tuesday that he is booked for a big match at AAW Legacy against former champion, Josh Alexander.

Set for February 4, titled AAW Legacy, Rush, and Alexander will meet for the first time ever.

Rush continues to move around the wrestling industry, making an impact every step of the way. He revealed the news that his contract with All Elite Wrestling is coming to a close in February, and he’s already been linked to major events such as TERMINUS 2 on February 24.

Rush was last seen at GCW The Wrld where he lost an exciting match to Blake Christian.

Alexander has been equally busy within IMPACT Wrestling and across the independent scene. He and Jonathan Gresham went at it during the first TERMINUS event for the Ring of Honor World Title with the match ending in a double pin. He and Jonah also had a must-see match at Hard to Kill in early January.

There are several other big matches announced for the event.

  • Fred Yehi versus Schaff in an unsanctioned, no rules match
  • ACH & Jah-C versus Hakim Zane & Karam
  • Russ Jones versus Jake Something
  • Christi Jaynes & Ren Jones versus Lady Frost & Victor Benjamin
  • Silas Young versus 1 Called Manders
  • Josh Alexander versus Lio Rush

AAW Legacy will be available for streaming via FITE TV with tickets still available to attend.
