CLEVELAND, Ohio — Corey Kluber rewrote the Cleveland record books when it came to strikeouts during parts of nine seasons with the club. The stoic and steady right-hander led the Indians to some of their greatest victories under Terry Francona and won two Cy Young Awards along the way.
A freak injury ended his run in Cleveland back in 2019, but those who eagerly looked forward to each “Kluber Day” in the starting rotation will recall the excitement generated by the unflappable Texan for years to come.

On Wednesday’s podcast, Paul Hoynes and Joe Noga continued looking back at Hoynsie’s 25 most memorable Cleveland baseball personalities during his years on the beat. We asked SubText subscribers to share their own thoughts and stories as well.
