An arrest has been made following a shooting at an Upstate convenience store over the weekend. The Greenville County Sheriff's Office says, 53 year old, Sylvester Junior Burnside was arrested Tuesday on charges of attempted murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

Those charges stem from a shooting in the parking lot of a convenience store on Buncombe Road, Sunday. Investigators say, there was an altercation between the victim and Burnside prior to the shooting. The victim remains hospitalized but is expected to recover.
