Eminem's longtime mentor, Dr. Dre, seemingly hinted at the rapper's potential appearance.
Since March 2020, hip-hop fans have been begging to see Eminem on its stage as he - unsurprisingly - became part of the shortlist of uneatable battlebots.
After nearly two years of waiting, it seems like his mentor himself ignited the desires even more.
On Sunday, Dr. Dre shared a cryptic post on Instagram, sharing a clip of Slim Shady's verse from 2020's "Godzilla," while focusing in a home-arcade-like place with the caption, "Marshall Mathers vs Who???!!"
He did not mention Verzuz at all, but he hyped the fans who want to see Eminem on the center stage, as well.
One said, "He just killed the Rap GAME."
Meanwhile, most internet users also suggested that no rapper could be in a battle against Eminem.
"Vs. nobody... because nobody has the ability to compete. Last one who tried now dresses in pink and tries to do soft core rock or someshit," another wrote.
Swizz Suggests Potential Rival!
While most fans do not think someone could go against Eminem in a Verzuz battle, Swizz left a comment on Dr. Dre's post.
"BUSTA!!!!!!!!!!! Let's go," Swizz exclaimed.
Busta Rhymes seemingly wants to share a stage with the "Rap God" rapper, too, as he previously named three hip-hop artists he wishes to challenge in a Verzuz rap battle - and it included Eminem.
In an interview with Complex, he would want to spar against anybody as long as their catalogs are powerful since he does not want to have a corny Verzuz.

"I don't wanna do no Verzuz with anybody whose catalog isn't crazy. And I would love to do a Verzuz with somebody that I'm a fan of because I'm only trying to compete with somebody that brings the best out of me," he said.
Aside from Eminem, Busta also named Lil Wayne and Hov as his desired contenders.
Meanwhile, five rappers already refused to face Busta on Verzuz, per Crazy Legs. Fat Joe himself admitted he is scared to do Verzuz with Busta Rhymes during an Instagram Live.
It remains unknown whether Eminem would finally face Busta and grant Dr. Dre his wish to see him on Verzuz.
