Emmerdale spoilers follow.
Emmerdale's Jai Sharma is set to make a big blunder following his fraudulent plan.
The character has gotten himself into a bit of trouble recently, having failed to secure a loan to pay off the £100,000 fine he'd been walloped with after the Hawksford Outdoor Pursuits adventure challenge disasters.
In a desperate attempt to clear the debt, Jai (Chris Bisson) filed another application under partner Laurel's name – a move that could jeopardise his relationship when the latter discovers what he's done in an upcoming episode.

In scenes scheduled to air on Thursday (February 3), Jai will be seen shoving the paperwork for the new loan into a folder when Laurel arrives home.
Later, when he rushes off though, he accidentally leaves the documents behind and... as you might expect, this is a soap after all... of course, Laurel takes a peep.
How will she react when she discovers what he's done? If the serious look on her face when she's reading it all is anything to go by, then not well...

"There's a difficult road ahead for Jai and Laurel," producer Laura Shaw previously teased. "Jai's desperation to sort out his money woes steps up a gear and he'll go to extreme lengths to cover the money he owes for the HOP fine – so will his relationship with Laurel be jeopardised?
"We know how Jai can struggle when he's on the back foot and not winning at life," she added. "So will this send him spiralling back to his old ways and will we see a darker Jai emerge from all this?"
Emmerdale airs these scenes on Thursday, February 3 at 7pm and 8pm on ITV.
