The 48-year-old victim was on a subway platform inside the 125th Street station at Lenox Avenue around 9:15 p.m. when she and her attacker got into an argument, according to police.
The man stabbed the woman during the dispute and then immediately ran away, police said.
The woman suffered a stab wound to her leg. She was transported to Harlem Hospital and is expected to survive.
