MONITEAU COUNTY—Two people died in an accident just after midnight Tuesday morning in Moniteau County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2004 Chevy Silverado was westbound on U.S. 50 just west of Country Side Road.
The pickup traveled off the left side of the and the driver overcorrected. The pickup traveled off the ride side of the road and the driver overcorrected a second time and the vehicle began to roll. Both occupants were ejected.
Christopher Seager, 23, and Dakota D. Pace, 21, both of California, Mo., were pronounced dead at the scene and transported to Windmill Ridge Funeral Home. The MSHP has not determined who was driving the pickup. The men were not wearing seat belts, according to the MSHP.
