Morningstar Power Plant
This is IGN's Guide of the Morningstar Power Plant. In this Morningstar Power Plant guide, you'll find strategies for the boss fight and tips and tricks for the dungeon. However, keep in mind that demi-dungeons in Nobody Saves the World are procedurally generated, meaning that it will be somewhat random for everyone!
The first thing you'll notice is that just like its surroundings, there will be a lot of poison clouds inside this demi-dungeon. However, that's not necessarily a bad thing. Why? Because your enemies are also affected by the poison clouds. This could potentially make detonate poison an overpowered ability in this demi-dungeon.
First Mini-Boss Room
This demi-dungeon is segmented by mini-boss rooms. You will reach a point on the floor where you'll be trapped inside a cage fighting your way out of it. For us, the first mini-boss room we encountered summoned a lot of mobs, so forms such as Bodybuilder and Guard should be able to handle it due to the amount of AoE they can generate. Stomp and just the Signature ability of the Bodybuilder can push back monsters and create space for you to move around.
The Rat also poses a great threat to them, especially if you've unlocked detonate poison. This can easily clear the field.
Second Mini-Boss Room
The second mini-boss room we encountered is a bit wider than the first one. This will favor forms that deal damage from afar as most of the enemies you'll fight here are going to be shooting projectiles while the short-ranged ones are going to chase after you.
We personally recommend using the Slug if you've already unlocked it as it leaves a trail behind while it moves that can slow enemies. Very helpful for kiting the short-ranged damage dealers while going for the long-ranged ones first.
It would also help if you've also unlocked the Ranger's ability "Dodge" as this can get you out of dangerous positions.
Third Mini-Boss Room
The third mini-boss room we encountered doesn't really differ much from the first one. Simply choose a form that deals good AoE damage and can tank stuff, then wreak havoc.
Morningstar Power Plant Boss Room
The boss room for Morningstar Power Plant is wide. But like the rest, there's going to be a lot of monsters around. We feel like any form can really do this boss room so just change into whatever form you're comfortable using.
There are no gimmicks here, just straight up many vs you.
Our recommended forms would be the slug, rat, and bodybuilder. The slug uses the same strategy as the second mini-boss room. The Rat can wreak havoc with its detonate poison, and the bodybuilder is just an overall very powerful form to use.
After clearing Morningstar Power Plant, the surrounding poison clouds will clear up allowing for safe passage.
