Elijah Able’s 19 points and seven rebounds powered Barringer to a 63-55 victory over Newark Collegiate in Newark.

Nasir Johnson had 11 points, seven steals, six rebounds and four assists for Barringer (5-5), which led 28-27 at halftime. Jacob Candelario added 10 points with seven rebounds, Noel Rolon had nine points, eight steals and five rebounds, while Nasheem Lee scored nine points.

Newark Collegiate falls to 5-4.
