Boys basketball: 4th-quarter rally propels Phillipsburg to comeback win over Sparta

Andrew Martin scored nine points to lead Phillipsburg to a come-from-behind victory on the road over Sparta, 33-29.

Phillipsburg trailed by four after three before putting the game away by outscoring Sparta by a count of 15-7 in the fourth quarter.

Matthew Scerbo, Jr. tallied eight points while Josh Borelli chipped in seven points for Phillipsburg (6-7), which has won four of its last five games to bounce back from a 2-6 start to the season.

Matt Silvey scored a game-high 11 points while Mike McGovern added 10 for Sparta, which falls to 6-7 with the loss.
