Girls basketball: Rapel late basket gets Phillipsburg win over Montgomery

Amanda Rapel hit a mid-range jumper with six seconds to go, lifting Phillipsburg to a 51-49 victory against Montgomery in Skillman.

Monet Gonda and Nilaja Wiltshire posted 14 and 11 points, respectively, to lead Phillipsburg (4-9).

Katherine Donohue’s 19-point, 12-rebound double-double steered Montgomery (6-5). Carey Smith supplied 17 points, one rebound and one steal in the loss.
