The LA Clippers never gave up and they were rewarded.
After being down by as much as 35 points, by 17 entering the fourth quarter, and by six with nine seconds left, the Clippers completed the second largest comeback in NBA history to defeat the Washington Wizards 116-115. The Clippers won with a last-second four-point play by Luke Kennard, who ended his night with 25 points coming off the bench.
Stunned is probably the best way to explain this. With all the injuries the Clippers have had, the fact they’re doing this is amazing. This is their third double-digit comeback within the past two weeks. On the 11th, the Clippers came back from 25 down to defeat the Nuggets. And last Friday, the Clippers beat the 76ers after being down by 24.
This was their ultimate comeback and people noticed.
