Presiding Commissioner of Boone County candidate Nick Knoth announces campaign suspension

KMIZ

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Presiding Commissioner of Boone County candidate Nick Knoth has announced the suspension of his campaign.

In a press release, Knoth says he is suspending his campaign because "we simply do not have the resources necessary to effectively compete."

Knoth announced his candidacy in may last year.

Current commissioner Dan Atwill announced in September that he was not seeking re-election.

As of right now Kip Kenrick and Connie Leipard are the only two candidates running.
