Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe has been in promising form as of late for the club. Overall, he has notched 19 goal contributions in 20 appearances in Ligue 1 play so far this season. More so, he has chipped in for 10 goals and three assists in his last eight matches in all competitions for the club.

For former PSG star Pauleta, he has been impressed with Mbappe’s form as of late and sees that the French forward has what it takes to continue to shine over the remainder of the campaign, which the long-time Portuguese talent spoke further about to PSG TV.

“I’m so proud to see Kylian breaking all these records,” Pauleta said. “And I am expecting a lot of Kylian this year. I think he’s going to have a great season. He’s going to contribute a lot to us. He’s in form, he’s got huge confidence, he’s a phenomenon.”

PSG sure will need Mbappe to continue to maintain his keen form for the rest of the season, especially in the upcoming UEFA Champions League round of 16 knockout stage tie against Real Madrid.

For now, a Coupe de France knockout stage encounter against OGC Nice awaits Mbappe and PSG.
