Horror movie buffs.... get excited. The Halloween movie franchise is bringing Michael Myers and Jamie Lee Curtis to Savannah.
'Halloween Ends,' is set to be released in theaters this October. The film is being shot under the production title 'Cave Dweller', according to Murphys Multiverse.
The movie is scheduled to be the final installment of the franchise reboot, which started in 2018's 'Halloween,' that filmed much of the story in South Carolina, and then with the second film 'Halloween Kills' that debuted in 2021.
The Savannah Regional Film Commission reported in December that 'Cave Dweller' would be shooting on multiple dates in the Savannah area between January and March 2022.
An in-person casting call for extras in Savannah is scheduled for Wednesday, January 26 at Halo Model & Talent Agency, at 1319 Bull Street between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m.
And then another casting call is set for Friday, January 28 from 3:30 to 7 p.m. at The Empowerment Center, 4704 Augusta Road, Savannah.
A third casting call will take place Sunday, January 30 at Sugar Magnolia Bakery & Cafe, on Savannah Avenue in Statesboro, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Bill Marinella's Casting call says it is seeking real families to portray themselves, as well as townspeople, real EMTs, real police officers, trick-or-treaters, kids ages 8-17 and adults.
