Walgreens Boots, Salesforce.com Inc. share losses contribute to Dow's nearly 350-point fall
Dragged down by negative returns for shares of Walgreens Boots and Salesforce.com Inc., the Dow Jones Industrial Average is declining Tuesday afternoon. The Dow (DJIA) was most recently trading 342 points lower (-1.0%), as shares of Walgreens Boots (WBA) and Salesforce.com Inc. (CRM) have contributed to the index's intraday decline. Walgreens Boots's shares have dropped $1.81 (3.5%) while those of Salesforce.com Inc. have dropped $6.86, or 3.1%, combining for a roughly 57-point drag on the Dow. Also contributing significantly to the decline are Microsoft (MSFT) Honeywell International Inc. (HON) and Intel (INTC) A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the Dow results in a 6.59-point swing.
