Did Jim Irsay just take a shot at Colts starting quarterback Carson Wentz?
Jim Irsay is not a person that will shy away from words, but did he just call out his starting quarterback? In a tweet that came out today, Irsay made a statement that you need a QB and offense who can score 30 or more points in regulation.
It sounds as if he is taking a shot at quarterback Carson Wentz.
I mean it is like he is saying you need to have a franchise quarterback. There are not many Josh Allen’s and Patrick Mahomes, but I personally do not feel the Colts are too far off. The Colts defense is amazing, they could use some wide receivers to help Wentz, but they have a pretty solid football team.
It is like he was comparing Wentz to Allen and Mahomes because the other AFC games were not 30 plus points. We will see if Irsay knows about football, because Joe Burrow has beaten the Chiefs in the past!
