Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is working on a new video game move, but he can’t say which yet.
In an interview with Men’s Journal, the people’s champion teased a yet-to-be-announced film based on a video game he’s working on.
“I can’t tell you which game in particular we’re doing, but there will be an announcement this year,” Johnson said. “We’re going to bring one of the biggest, most badass games to the screen—one that I’ve played for years. I’m really excited to bring it to fans around the world. Of course we’re going to do right by our gamer friends—but really we’re just going to make a great movie.”

Johnson is no stranger to video game adaptations, even the bad ones. I’m not ready to forgive him for how awful DOOM (2005) was, but hey, Rampage was fun.
Since Johnson’s tease, social media is going wild with everyone trying to guess what video game to film project could be. By “guess,” I mean they’re memeing the night away, naturally. From Dark Souls to Animal Crossing, the internet provides a few good knee-slaps. Personally, I’d love to see Johnson as Professor Oak in a live-action Pokémon film because there’s no funnier mental image than that tower of muscle helping someone select a starter Pokémon.

Ok, but, Dark Souls starring The Rock sounds mint.
