Matt Grzelcyk practiced Tuesday and could be back in the Bruins lineup Wednesday when Boston travels to Colorado. Nick Foligno, who suffered an upper-body injury in Monday’s loss to Anaheim won’t make the trip.

Grzelcyk missed Monday’s game after suffering an upper-body ailment against Winnipeg Saturday.

“Grzelcyk skated, felt better. We’ll see on him tomorrow,” Bruins coach Bruce Cassidy said. “Foligno is out. Won’t travel.”

Cassidy gave an update on several of his injured players ahead of the trip that sends them to face the Avalanche Wednesday, Arizona Friday and Dallas on Sunday:

  • Brad Marchand took a maintenance day instead of practicing after last week’s injury. He’ll play Wednesday.
  • No change on Trent Frederic
  • Anton Blidh and John Moore both practiced. Blidh will travel, Moore will not.
  • Forward Stephen Fogarty, goalie Troy Grosenick and possibly Jesper Frödén will be on the Bruins taxi squad for the trip. Frödén will depend in Blidh’s status.
