Big Gigantic, Party Pupils join hands on ‘Renegade’
“Back once again for the renegade masters,” Big Gigantic and Party Pupils‘ newest grooving anthem, “Renegade,” has landed. Sampling from A.D.O.R.’s “One For The Trouble,” the debut original collaboration stirs dancing saxophones and bouncing beats into one party-infused pot.
Clocking in as their first track of the new year and following suit to their 2021 EP, Leisure Season Vol. 1, Big Gigantic’s newest collaboration with Party Pupils pushes the envelope as it brings easy-going atmospheres in marriage with smelting production chemistry. Ryan Siegel of Party Pupils dove into how “Renegade” about following a longtime relationship with Big Gigantic, explaining,
“We’ve been friends for a few years now, and have worked together on a couple remixes and features, but we knew it was time for an original. Dominic (Big Gigantic) and I had been talking about making some sax-heavy house music, so he sent me some riffs and I loved this one that made it into ‘Renegade.’ Both our styles mix so well, and when we finished this one I knew we had something special. It feels like entrance music to a gladiators match!”
