Janet Jackson’s highly anticipated documentary officially premieres on Friday (Jan. 28) on Lifetime and A&E. The second part of the doc will air the following evening.
The self-titled television event, Janet, will give exclusive access to archival footage and never-before-seen home videos from the star’s childhood to her successful career.
Tyler Perry, Missy Elliott, Whoopi Goldberg, Regina King, Samuel L. Jackson, Ciara and more will make special appearances in the documentary, along with Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, Jackson’s longtime producing partners.
The entertainer’s brother Randy, older sister Rebbie, and their mother Katherine Jackson, will all sit down for interviews.
