Dauphin had an assist, one shot on net, one hit, one blocked shot and two PIM in Monday's 8-2 loss to Minnesota.

Dauphin recorded the primary assist on Mike Hoffman's goal early in the first period. It was his second helper in the last three games and gives him five points in 12 NHL contests. When the Canadiens' injured forwards return to the lineup, Dauphin could wind up back at AHL Laval. However, the first order of business for Montreal's new general manager Kent Hughes is to initiate a rebuild. That shuffle of bodies could result in Dauphin finishing out the season in the NHL.
