Coronation Street spoilers follow.

Coronation Street's Fiz Stape will be given a shock by her ex Tyrone Dobbs as the former couple try to tackle the issue of Hope Stape's bad behaviour once again.

Fiz's young daughter has given her and Tyrone (Alan Halsall) cause for concern a number of times over the years, with Hope (Isabella Flanagan) having started fires and tried to push her cousin Joseph Brown (William Flanagan) down the stairs in the past.

Next week, Hope's behaviour becomes a topic of conversation for the family once again after the truth is exposed about her helping Joseph to hide in the attic at No 9 while the whole street thought that he had gone missing. Hope later also accepted a bribe to keep quiet about the circumstances surrounding Joseph being found.

After Fiz (Jennie McAlpine) speaks to Hope's therapist about the incident, she returns home upbeat and tells Evelyn Plummer (Maureen Lipman) that the therapist reckons Hope's latest antics are simply those of a naughty girl and that there is nothing more sinister at play.

Evelyn, however, is not so convinced.

Later on, Tyrone braces himself and suggests to Fiz that there could be more to Hope's ongoing behavioural problems than they first thought. He then breaks the news to a surprised Fiz that he thinks they need to pursue a proper diagnosis for Hope.

Will Tyrone's suggestion cause another rift between the former couple?

Corrie producer Iain MacLeod recently teased a "cracking year" for Fiz and Tyrone on the cobbles in 2022, revealing that Fiz "will end up in a huge dilemma about where her future lies" as she finds herself caught between Tyrone and her current partner, Phill Whittaker (Jamie Kenna).

"I think I know what Fiz's happy ending looks like, but it's going to be a long, brilliant and complicated story for both of them," he said. "Once you've been hurt and humiliated like Fiz has, even if you find yourself wanting your ex back, is it that straightforward? Will pride, and your family, let you?"

Coronation Street airs these scenes on Monday, January 31 at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
