NEWTON COUNTY —A Missouri woman died in an accident just after 3p.m. Monday in Newton County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2013 Toyota Avalon driven by Bettie L. Rowe, 88, Stella, was northbound on U.S. 60 three miles south of Ritchey.
The Toyota pulled into the path of an eastbound 1998 Peterbilt semi driven by Roger L. Ozbun, 66, Purdy.
Rowe was pronounced dead at the scene. Ozbun was not injured. Both drivers were properly restrained, according to the KHP.
