Owensboro is known as the "Bar-B-Q Capital of the World" and there's no debating that we're home to some world famous barbecue restaurants like Moonlite and Old Hickory. Well, another local restaurant is about to get in on the action and tradition.

The Brew Bridge, on 2nd Street in downtown Owensboro, just announced that it will soon be Owensboro's NEWEST place to get BBQ!  Starting Tuesday, February 1st, Brew Bridge is launching an all-new menu filled with great BBQ.  The restaurant will be serving Smoked Brisket, Pulled Pork, Smoked Turkey, Texas-style BBQ beans and coleslaw.

Here's a sneak preview of how delicious the BBQ looks!

Here at WBKR, we're celebrating the launch of the new Brew Bridge menu with a fun contest that's going to give you the opportunity to be one of the first people to try out the new menu items.

On Tuesday, the February 8th (the one week anniversary of the big rollout), Angel and I are going to be hosting an exclusive lunch and remote broadcast at the restaurant.  We'll be there trying the BBQ for the first time and we want YOU there with us.

To get qualified to win, simply fill out this form!

We'll announce our lucky winners during the morning show on Monday, February 7th.

We're going to choose fifteen lucky winners to join us for the BBQ sampling party, which will be held at Noon CST on February 8th.  Each winner will get to bring a guest as well.

In addition to the exciting announcement about Brew Bridge's new BBQ menu, they've also announced that they're hosting a very special Valentine's Weekend event.  Yep!  They're having a SILENT DISCO!
