The Washington Capitals entered their game on Monday with an armful of cuteness as players carried puppies into Capital One Arena to help promote animal adoption.
The pooches the team carried are all available for adoption through Wolf Trap Animal Rescue of Washington D.C. The team put out a thread of photos and videos on social media, all starring the cutest pups. The team turned it in to an entire theme night.
Each one of these pups was named in honor of Bob Saget’s passing...
The Capitals also did a series of videos where players answered questions like what is your dog's nickname to if you could ask your dog any question, what would it be?
The team also hosted some very special guests from America's Vet Dogs on the ice before the game.
As part of our @Boeing “Hero Welcome” for #CapsCaninesNight, we are proud to welcome these six veterans and their @AmericasVetDogs service dogs to tonight’s game.
To those that serve and have served in the armed forces, we thank you for your service! pic.twitter.com/aZaw6UsqTB
