The War on Drugs Postpone Two Shows Due To Covid Case In Touring Camp

Indie-rock band The War on Drugs have postponed two of their upcoming shows due to a COVID case in their touring camp. The impacted shows are the one today (01/24) in Nashville and one tomorrow (01/25) in Atlanta, according to BrooklynVegan. The band announced the postponement on their social media.

The band stated in their post that they were “heartbroken” over the postponement of the shows and announced they would continue the tour on January 27, in Philadelphia, if everyone “remains healthy and negative.”

The band recently adjusted their touring plans because of COVID concerns, cancelling two Toronto shows and adding more Pittsburgh and Cincinnati shows. They were also featured on President Obama’s songs of the year playlist.
