A show with as many seasons as Chicago Fire is both a gift and a curse to its viewers. With 10 or more seasons, there’s no shortage of interesting stories and characters. And should you need something to watch on a rainy day, there are hundreds of episodes to choose from.

Lee Lawson, best known for playing Bea Reardon on the long-running CBS soap opera Guiding Light, has died. She was 80. The news of Lawson’s death was confirmed in a Facebook post from her daughter, which stated, “My Mother died. May 22, 2022. You fought Cancer & COVID-19 like a champ. Rest, you brilliant woman. Thank you, mom. R.I.P.”

Now that Reddington (James Spader) knows his heretofore loyal lawyer was behind the death of his beloved Elizabeth (Megan Boone) and the blackmail of ex–task force chief Harold Cooper (Harry Lennix), “Red wants to kill Marvin for what he did to Liz,” says The Blacklist exec producer John Eisendrath. The Pearson family bid viewers adieu with a moving series finale installment of This Is Us, but the show’s ending wasn’t the only big moment of the night. According to early Nielsen data released following the installment, the This Is Us series finale episode, “Us,” pulled in a rating of 1.2 among adults 18-49. Broken down into numbers, that’s 6 million total viewers.

The final story of the Pearson family has been told, for now, as This Is Us aired its series finale. Among the cast members moving onto new projects is Chris Sullivan (Toby), who has been cast as the lead in The Son in Law, a sitcom pilot for ABC. (According to Variety, he plays a plumber who falls for a Manhattan socialite.)

If you’ve been as big a fan of Sandra Mae Frank’s Dr. Elizabeth Wilder since her introduction as we have, you’re going to love this news: She’s not going anywhere. The actress, who is deaf, has been upped to series regular for New Amsterdam‘s final season, according to TVLine. She made her debut in the first episode of the current fourth season (ending May 24) as a potential replacement for Dr. Helen Sharpe (Freema Agyeman), before eventually she took over as Chief of Oncology.

Ray Liotta has died at the age of 67, according to Deadline. A cause of death has not yet been disclosed, and according to the report, he passed away in his sleep. He was filming the upcoming movie, Dangerous Waters, in the Dominican Republic. He is survived by his daughter.
