The Adair County Health Department confirmed 105 new cases of COVID-19 in the county on Monday.
Among the cases are 16 in the K-12 schools sector, eight in the higher education sector, and one employee at a skilled nursing facility.
There are 14 known breakthrough infections.
The ages of confirmed cases range from 3 months to 82 years.
Fifty-four cases involve females and 51 are males.
Below is the breakdown:
- 0-9 years: 13
- 10-19 years: 14
- 20-29 years: 21
- 30-39 years: 14
- 40-49 years: 15
- 50-59 years: 16
- 60-69 years: 8
- 70-79 years: 3
- 80 years and older: 1
The health department continues to recommend that all county residents ages 5 and older get vaccinated against COVID-19.
A list of upcoming pediatric and adult COVID vaccine clinics can be found on the health department's website.
Adult vaccination clinics are scheduled for Tuesdays in January and pediatric vaccination clinics are scheduled for Thursdays in the month.
An adult clinic is happening from 2-4 p.m. on Jan. 25.
Pediatric clinics are from 3-5 p.m., Jan. 20 and 27.
