Teddy Blueger will be out 6-8 weeks for the Pittsburgh Penguins after having surgery to repair a fractured jaw on Monday.

Blueger was injured on a hit by defenseman Brenden Dillon in the first period of a 3-2 shootout win against the Winnipeg Jets on Sunday.
Blueger has scored 17 points (eight goals, nine assists) in 40 games this season for Pittsburgh (26-10-5), which is currently second in the Metropolitan Division.
In four NHL seasons, all with the Penguins, Blueger has scored 71 points (30 goals, 41 assists) in 180 games. He has scored one goal in 11 Stanley Cup Playoff games.
