The Los Angeles Lakers topped the Orlando Magic on Friday, 116-105. LeBron James led the way in the scoring column.

Los Angeles’ No.1 option went for 29 points, seven rebounds, five assists, one steal and one block in his 34 minutes. James shot 12-of-23 overall and 2-of-7 from deep while converting all three of his free throws.

His scoring was a key factor in the first half when the Lakers looked out of sorts against a Magic squad that has won eight times this season out of 47 games.

He received some crucial help in the second half when Carmelo Anthony found a groove from 3-point range and mid-range, so the two long-time friends combined to deliver a win.
