DeLand teen accused of threatening to set off explosives at the White House
A student at Stetson University in DeLand is accused of threatening to detonate explosive devices at the White House.Brian Ghalili, 18, was arrested early Saturday after another student called law enforcement Friday saying he'd seen a threat on a Snapchat account associated with Ghalili. Ghalili allegedly posted that he had a bomb strapped to his chest, gave out coordinates and warned that people had 13 hours to stop him from killing innocents. Investigators tracked Ghalili to his familys' beachside condominium where he allegedly admitted the coordinates he posted were for the White House but that he was just kidding. In addition to local law enforcement, the FBI and the Secret Service were notified. Right now, Ghalili is being held without bond.
