PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A woman was arrested hours after a fire charred the Gresham Chamber of Commerce Visitor Center and Walker Travel, police said.
Sarah Ann Arndt faces an arson charge after the fire swept through the building after starting on the porch. The 43-year-old was arrested later Monday.
Officers on patrol spotted the building on fire around 2 a.m. and officials said Arndt was nearby.
No other details are available. No injuries were reported. The building is more than 100 years old.
