VS. COLORADO

The Blackhawks and Avalanche play for the third time this season and second time in Denver tonight. Colorado has won both matchups with the last game being decided in overtime on Jan. 4. Alex DeBrincat (2G), Seth Jones (2A) and Patrick Kane (2A) each recorded multi-point efforts in the loss. Jonathan Toews also tallied a marker and won 13 faceoffs.
Calvin de Haan matched a career high with seven hits against the Avalanche on Jan. 4. He finished with a season-high six blocked shots vs. Colorado in the season opener.

HALFWAY POINT

Chicago reached the midpoint of the season schedule on Saturday night with an overtime loss to the Minnesota Wild. After starting the season with a 1-9-2 mark, the team has rebounded to a 15-19-7 record overall.

BRING ON BORGSTROM

Henrik Borgstrom logged his first two-goal night as a member of the Blackhawks on Satruday with a pair of tallies in the overtime defeat. The forward doubled his goal total for the season overall and found the net for the first time since Dec. 9 in Montreal.

LANKINEN OUT

After backstopping the Blackhawks to a point on Saturday night with a 40-save effort, Kevin Lankinen was placed on injured reserve on Sunday with a right hand injury suffered during the game. Arvid Soderblom was called up from Rockford to the active roster in his place and will be available on Monday night.
