Although Paul is a social media phenomenon, he’s also one of the most polarizing figures in the entertainment industry. According to TMZ, Josie Canseco and Logan Paul first met in Los Angeles, as they both had similar friendship circles.
Paul shared, “It was a crossing of L.A. circles. She’s over here and I’m over there and we crossed circles one night… It’s f-ing serious. It’s pretty serious.”
The couple was first spotted together in public when Josie and Logan were both holding hands at the Rose Bowl Flea Market in 2020.
Josie was born on November 5, 1996 in Weston, Florida. She is the daughter of celebrity Jessica Canseco and former MLB player Jose Canseco. Before becoming a model, Josie attended Oaks Christian High School. However, she would eventually drop out of school to pursue a modeling career after being discovered by photographer Bryant Enslava. Josie’s photos with her friend, Charlotte D’Alessio, at the 2015 Coachella Music Festival became viral.
Josie was no stranger to the entertainment industry. During her teenage years, she had an interest in dance. Moreover, she also posed as a teen model for popular brands such as Kohl’s and Hollister, Teen Vogue, Aeropostale, and Urban Outfitters.
The celebrity model has also appeared on the screens by being part of the reality show, Hollywood Exes with her mother, Jessica. Josie was also casted in YouTube series, Summer Break 2. In addition to these, she also made an appearance in Kygo’s music video for the song, Here for You.
After choosing to pursue a modeling career, Josie would ink a deal with NEXT Model management. In 2016, she auditioned for Sports Illustrated and was part of the magazine’s casting call. In the same year, Josie was also announced as the Playboy Playmate of the Month in June 2016.
In the following year, Josie appeared in the Moschino resort runway show, which was her favorite runway show to watch. Aside from this, she also took her shot at being part of the annual Victoria Secret Fashion Show. Unfortunately, she didn’t make the cut in that year.
However, Canseco would eventually make the roster in 2018, as she made her Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show debut. In that same year, Josie also appeared as the Galore cover girl and also walked at the Frankie’s Bikinis Fashion Show held in Los Angeles.
Josie has put up an impressive modeling career. In fact, she has also modeled for famous fashion designer, Sherri Hill. Josie also graced the cover of ELLE Serbia on April 2019. In addition to this, Josie has also appeared in other shoots such as Harper’s Bazaar Mexico, Chinese Vogue, Numero Russia, Maxim, and many more. While Josie has enjoyed the fruits of her modeling success, it didn’t mean the path was an easy one.
At the start of her career, Josie admitted to enduring some hardships.
In an interview with New York Post, she said “A lot of models say you aren’t a real model unless you’ve lived in a model apartment with six or seven girls… there are some girls who are doing drugs, some are cooking fish at 7 a.m., stinking up the whole place, and there are cigarettes. You have no privacy, which is tough. But it’s how I had to start.”
Josie’s modeling career has gone a long way. In fact, she has her sights set on modeling for American Vogue.
Josie said, “I think having an American Vogue cover would be incredible.”
Josie puts in the work in order to live a healthy lifestyle. She works out at Dogpound daily which is the same fitness hub that Gigi Hadid goes to. Moreover, Josie also engages in boxing, cycling, circuit training, running, weight training, golf, and dancing. In fact, Josie is also a brand ambassador for Alo Yoga, which sells sports apparel for men and women.
Aside from her modeling career, Josie has a lot of interest in the outdoors, specifically her love for animals. In an interview with Flaunt, Josie revealed that she is helping out an animal charity called The Real Bark, which helps dogs that have been branded as “Tough Cases”.
Josie and Paul have reportedly broken up since November 2020. For Paul, he admitted to being “too selfish” to be in a relationship. On the other hand, Josie claimed that Paul wasn’t the right man for her and he was using her for her fame.
To make matters worse, Josie’s father, Jose, chimed in on the breakup. It’s worth noting that Paul’s announcement of the breakup came just slightly before his brother’s knockout win against former NBA player Nate Robinson in a boxing exhibition match.

The incident certainly took a dramatic turn, as Josie reportedly cut off her father for his controversial tweet. Furthermore, Josie’s former boyfriend would respond immediately.

Fortunately, Josie and her father are now back to speaking terms. In fact, Josie and her father were seen happily partying together for her 25th birthday party back in November 2021 held at Delilah in West Hollywood.
Since Josie’s breakup with Paul, she has been involved in dating rumors linked with Rapper G-Eazy and Tiktok star Bryce Hall. However, it looks like Canseco has remained single since then.
