For the first time in Tom Brady's NFL career, he was flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct in the loss to the Rams in the NFC divisional round.
In the first half, Von Miller hit Brady in the chin, which left him with a bloodied lip, but no penalty was called. Brady then voiced his displeasure to referee Shawn Hochuli, who flagged the 44-year-old quarterback.
Hochuli explained what happened to a pool reporter after the game.
"He got in my face in an aggressive manner and used abusive language," he said. "As for the hit, we did not think that it rose to the level of roughing the passer."
As for Brady's thoughts?
"I don't know. I'll probably be fined if I say something," he said to reporters.
The Tampa Bay quarterback will now reportedly take some time to decide if he wants to play another NFL season.
