ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) - The Anchorage Police Department said Sunday that four teenagers, including a juvenile, have been arrested in connection with a shooting that happened in the area of North Bliss Street in Anchorage and left another teen hospitalized.

Police said 19-year-old Bernard Jordan, 18-year-old Michael Patrick and 18-year-old Sammy Phanhly were taken to the Anchorage jail on charges of first-degree assault, third-degree assault, reckless endangerment and misconduct involving weapons. One juvenile teenager was also arrested and charges have been forwarded to the Division of Juvenile Justice.

According to police, when officers responded to a report of shots fired and a possible injured person off North Bliss Street, just after 7:30 p.m. Friday evening, they found an unidentified teen girl with a gunshot wound to the upper body.

Emergency responders took the teen to a local hospital with what police called “life-threatening injuries.” Authorities have yet to release an update on her condition.

Police have not released a motive for the shooting, but said the incident appears isolated and the investigation remains ongoing.
