Emmerdale's Manpreet Sharma faces the police tonight (January 24) as part of their investigation into Meena Jutla's crimes.
Manpreet (Rebecca Sarker) has spent the last week recovering in hospital after being run over when she'd managed to escape from Meena.
In Monday's episode, it's finally time for Manpreet to speak to the police about everything she knows about Meena's murders.
Vinny Dingle (Bradley Johnson) has been keen for this to happen as quickly as possible, as Manpreet's knowledge over Ben Tucker's death could prove that Liv Flaherty wasn't responsible and secure her release from prison.

When the police arrive at the hospital, Charles Anderson (Kevin Mathurin) isn't sure that Manpreet is ready to be questioned after everything she has been through.
Manpreet thinks otherwise and insists on getting this over and done with for everyone's sake.
When questions turn to Ben's murder, Manpreet quickly realises that this is going to be more complicated than she'd expected.
Although Manpreet can verify that Meena confessed to killing Ben, the police warn that this may not be enough to free Liv.

The investigating detectives push for specific details so that this can be matched against the evidence that the police already have over what killed Ben.
Some of this evidence has even been kept out of the public domain, allowing the police to keep the upper hand in the investigation.
When Manpreet realises she may not be able to provide anything in-depth, will this be bad news for Liv's future?
Emmerdale airs tonight at 7pm on ITV.
