When did all this come about? My great granddad made moon shine for years and drank it, along with other alcohol.. he died at 102, my grandmother drank socially and passed at 104.. none from cancer.. right now, my uncle is 84 still takes a sip on occasion.. what happened to a drink of wine 🍷 a day is good for long life?

Alcohol is such a heavy buzz. And your body recognizes it as a poison. It puts everything on hold until the alcohol is completely gone from your system. That means whatever pill you’ve taken whatever nutrients you’ve taken in will have to wait until the alcohol has been processed by your liver.
