The football world was treated to a magnificent set of games this weekend. The NFL's Divisional Round brought four heart-stopping games that all ended on the final play. For the most part, most fans thoroughly enjoyed this weekend. However, one Cleveland Browns player wished for something different on his end.

Baker Mayfield, the Browns' quarterback, also enjoyed this weekend playoffs slate. However, Mayfield lamented the fact that his team weren't able to participate in this dance as well.

“Congrats to all teams moving on… some extremely competitive football was played this weekend. Was entertaining to watch. Would absolutely much rather be playing, but was fun to watch.”

After a shocking season that saw the Browns make the Divisional Round, fans had high expectations for Mayfield and co. However, it wasn't meant to be. Injuries to Mayfield and the rest of the roster, as well as internal turmoil with former wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr, derailed this team. As a result, Cleveland was on the outside looking in come playoff time.

Mayfield has been the subject of countless trade rumors and such this off-season. The question of whether the Browns should keep the quarterback has hung over the fans since they were eliminated from contention. For now, though, Mayfield is simply just enjoying the off-season and watching some good football while he's at it.

Shortly after sending his initial tweet, the Browns quarterback fired back at some of the fans trolling him in his replies, saying:

Nevertheless… social media is toxic. Always kept my circle tight. Time to get back to that. Family and loved ones only.
