SALT LAKE CITY – Bojan Bogdanovic narrowly missed what would have been a game-winning three-point shot as the Utah Jazz fell to the Golden State Warriors 94-92.

The Jazz grabbed a Warriors miss with 10 seconds left to play and chose to go without at time out, but Bogdanovic couldn’t convert the three, and Royce O’Neale’s put back at the buzzer rimmed out as the Jazz dropped their seventh game in their last nine outings.

Bogdanovic led the Jazz with 21 points while the Warriors got 20 points from Jordan Poole in the win.

First Quarter

The Jazz offense got off to a hot start knocking down 5-6 shots including 3-4 from the three-point line.

With Donovan Mitchell missing his third straight game, Mike Conley and Bojan Bogdanovic picked up the scoring load in the first quarter adding nine points apiece.

However, the Warriors knocked down 5-11 threes and had success against the Jazz defense late in the first quarter to build a four point lead.

After one, the Jazz trailed the Warriors 33-29.

Second Quarter

The Warriors were effective against Rudy Gobert, spacing the floor and then attacking the paint. They built a 10 point lead early in the second thanks to a 6-0 run.

However, the Jazz continued to find success with their smaller lineups with Rudy Gay at the center, and erased the lead.

Trent Forrest had one of his best halves of the season scoring six points and recording four steals.

At the break, the Jazz trailed the Warriors 55-54.

Third Quarter

The Warriors again had success against the Jazz big lineups as the Jazz starting frontcourt of Royce O’Neale and Gobert were -10 and -11 through three quarters.

Golden State took advantage by building a 13 point lead midway through the third.

But, once against the small lineup battled back to rim the Warriors lead to just eight, fueled by Gay’s 16 points.

After one, the Jazz trailed 83-75.

Fourth Quarter

The Jazz used a 12-0 run early in the fourth quarter to erase Golden State’s advantage and take a three point lead.

The two teams traded baskets through the quarter as the Jazz finally found some momentum with Gobert on the floor getting into the teeth of the Warriors defense.

With just under two minutes left in the game however, Gobert had to leave the floor as the trainers looked at his knee.

The Jazz wound up with the ball down two with 10 seconds to go, but Bogdanovic’s three-pointer bounced out while Royce O’Neale’s last-second tip couldn’t climb over the rim and the Jazz lost 94-92.
