The Bengals will travel to Kansas City for next Sunday's AFC Championship, and it was a touchdown in overtime by former Cincinnati Bearcats standout Travis Kelce - the Chiefs' star tight end - that propelled his team into the conference title game.

Kelce celebrated his first-quarter touchdown during a 34-31 loss to the Bengals at Paul Brown Stadium earlier this month by gesturing and shouting "U-C" in the end zone as a tribute to his alma mater.

Social media reactions to Kelce's game-winning touchdown:

Kelce, who finished the Jan. 2 game in Cincinnati with five catches for 25 yards, was in attendance at AT&T Stadium for UC's Cotton Bowl loss to Alabama days earlier.

Kelce paid tribute to UC to celebrate a game-winning touchdown in overtime in December that capped the six-time Pro Bowler's career-best 191-yard effort against the Los Angeles Chargers.
