UPDATE: 1 dead in Dauphin County house fire, officials say

A second alarm structure fire with possible entrapment was reported around 9:30 p.m. Sunday evening in the 500 block of Water Street in Royalton Borough, Dauphin County.

Multiple calls came in reporting the fire, according to the Middletown Volunteer Fire Department. Several engine, truck and rescue companies were reportedly on the scene. The county coroner has also reportedly been called to the scene, according to dispatchers.

A firefighter was briefly trapped in the building after the second floor of the home collapsed, according to dispatchers. They later reported the firefighter had been freed.
